My name is Ishan Agarwal. Welcome to my technology facts blog!
I find it fascinating to learn the history behind the inventions that have become a part of our daily lives. We take so many things for granted and it is fun to look into how those inventions came to be such a staple for us. Learning why these inventions were created, and the thought process that brought them to life is something that will never bore me.
Perhaps it is because I lack the mind of an inventor, but I am constantly amazed at the possibility of someone creating something out of seemingly nothing. How can a person figure out that if this wire touches that wire, then connects to that piece of metal, and then has electricity running through it, we could end up with something useful? The invention of bubblegum astounds me, let alone the myriad of technological devices that have become part of my everyday life.
This blog will explore the history of the telephone. I would not be surprised to learn that it is one of the most universal of all technological inventions. Most people have at least one phone, and many people have multiple phones. From the telegraph, to landlines, and cordless phones to the mobile phone, we all have had the telephone play a role in our lives.
